I've heard stories abt how hamsters will keep on reproducing non-stop. Mine have been together for months with no good news, so I'd almost believed they are impotent or sth. Haha!

On 21 Apr, mama xiao hei gave birth to 4 little babies. The were alien-looking, reddish with no fur, no eyes.



But I adore them to bits! =)

So we bought this cage to house papa junior for the time being.



i think mama xiao hei is upset that she has to be separated from her lover cos i saw her biting the cage vigorously!

mama xiao hei is so kuku! She bore her babies in the exercise wheel, her fave hangout place. That's ok. What's worrysome was that she actually continued to run, leaving the poor little ones rotating in the wheel after her feet!

So this is what grandpa liu che did to save the babies from being trampled to death.



Anyway, I'm gonna take pictures of the growing stage of these little hammies, from nude and eyeless, to having fur, and eyes and organs!
